String ensemble consent form 2025

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

St Joseph's School, Kingswood has a well-established music program and a significant number of children who learn an instrument through private tuition lessons. All children who have learned a string instrument for two terms or more, are strongly encouraged to join our String Ensemble, commencing Term 3, 2025. The benefits of being a part of a group of musicians further extends children's musicality, timing, tone and provides an additional opportunity for them to rehearse with their instrument.

The String Ensemble will rehearse weekly on Wednesday mornings at 8.30-9.15am

If your child decides that they would like to be a part of the String Ensemble it is important that they understand the need to commit to all rehearsals. If your child is unable to attend a rehearsal, I would appreciate being notified.

If your child/ren would like to join the String Ensemble, can you please assist them to complete the attached agreement and return it by Friday 1st August 2025 at the latest.
