Summer Basketball 2025/2026

Students in Years 2-6 are invited and encouraged to participate in extracurricular sport throughout 2025 - representing St Joseph's School, Kingswood. The Summer season runs from term 4 through to term 1 (with Winter being terms 2 and 3).

We are pleased to offer the below info for school basketball competition in Term 4, 2025, Start Dates: Tuesday 14th October, Wednesday 15th October, Thursday 16th October Last Round/Finals Days: Tuesday 7th April, Wednesday 8th April, Thursday 9th April 2026.

  • Year 2's - Tuesdays after school
  • Year 3/4's - Thursdays after school

  • Year 5/6's - Wednesdays after school

Players wear their school sports uniform and provided basketball uniform for matches. Water bottle is strongly recommended. All playing equipment is provided by the school eg: balls.

Hot Weather Policy:
If the forecast temperature is at or above 35˚C on the BOM website the day before the activity (training or matches) then the activity will be cancelled.

Without a coach, we can't nominate (and many hands make light work- it often works well with one parent happy to take training sessions and the other coaching games). Please consider volunteering to coach and indicating on the form below. 

Match times are on Tuesday - Thursday 4-6.50pm. So to help us with registrations, we request families complete the below form ASAP, by Monday  22nd September at the very latest. 

Please take time to read our Sports at St Joseph's Kingswood Hand Book, as well as our Extracurricular School Sports Policy which all players, volunteers, coaches, spectators and other personnel associated with after school and weekend sport must adhere to.

If No, please provide a completed care plan/medication agreement to the school on completion of this form.
