I have really enjoyed stepping beyond the comfort of my little Reception classroom and into a leadership role for the last couple of weeks. It has been a wonderful experience to work alongside Christine, Josh, and Michael in leadership — a true reminder that many hands make light work. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute in this way and look forward to continuing to support our children and school community together as a team.

Building strong, positive relationships with children is something I deeply value. Having taught many of the students, I feel fortunate to already share strong connections with them, and I am looking forward to both strengthening these relationships and forming new ones throughout this time.

This role also provides me with the chance to be involved in the many events happening across the school, including our Father’s Day celebrations, and I feel privileged to share these special moments with staff, students, and families.

I would like to thank the families and children in my class for your understanding and support as I take on this role. I am very much looking forward to the weeks ahead and all that we will share together.
