SAPSASA Netball Competition
On Friday 26th July the year 6 girls knockout Netball team participated in a round robin competition against two other schools in the second round of the knockout SAPSASA Netball Cup. The team played against Thiele Primary and Eden Hills Primary and were victorious against both teams.
The team will now play their semi-final match here at school on Friday 30th August (week 6) at 11.30am against St Mary’s Memorial School so come along and support the team. A win will see our school in the Grand Final for the second year in a row!
Special thanks to Mrs Lisa Harriss and Mrs Susie Revell for training the team on Thursday afternoons to help prepare them and coaching them on the day.
SAPSASA Soccer knockout match
On Thursday 25th July the year 5/6 Soccer knockout team participated in a round robin competition against two other schools in the second round of the knockout SAPSASA Netball Cup. The team played against St Francis Assisi and Gilles Street Primary and unfortunately lost both matches. Great to see the progressed into the second round for the first time in our history! Well done boys.

Cross Country Carnival Year 3-7
A reminder that this Wednesday is the Catholic Schools Cross Country Carnival at PAC Oval. The carnival will commence at 10.00am and students should arrive back at school by the end of lunch. The students will run a 2km track through the parklands with various officials around the course to help guide the way. Special thanks to Mrs Mortellaro for being our Official on the day, your assistance is appreciated.
Touch Football Carnival – Thursday 5th September (week 7)
A reminder to complete the SZAPP permission note for the upcoming Touch Football Carnival, the school needs a parent helper for each team and MUST supply one umpire for the day to be able to participate. If you can assist please indicate on the SZAPP permission page. No Touch Football experience is necessary to be a helper on the day.
