Throughout National Recycling Week, 4/5 Pike championed our sustainability focus, arranging activities incuding baking biscuits (instead of purchasing plastic-wrapped, store-bought ones), sharing fruit snack with our Buddy class (and putting the watermelon rinds etc. into the green bin) and also holding a stall to sell repurposed chip packets. Students have given a second-life to chip packets, having made them into bag tags. The class have nominated the funds raised from the stall to go to Backpacks4Kids. Thank you to everyone who came by the stall and contributed!!
