SACPSSA Netball Carnival 2020
On Thursday 30th July, 80 students from St Joseph’s Kingswood participated in the annual SACPSSA Netball Carnival at Priceline Stadium, Mile End. Each team played 6 matches on the day against various Catholic Schools across the state and although the teams participated for fun and didn’t keep score, if there was a trophy at the end I’m certain we would have won it!
This year, due to COVID-19, there were some restrictions implemented by SA Health meaning our school could only take a limited number of individuals and students. This meant that unfortunately our year 3 students and some parent helpers as well as spectators had to miss out. Hopefully this will change by next year and we can include everyone.
Thank you to all the teachers that assisted on the day, Mr Bratt, Mr Deverson, Mr Schultz, Mrs Begg and Mrs Bello, our parent helpers Kristie Barrington-Case, Guiliana Davis and Emma Brooke and our Cabra umpires.
SACPSSA Touch Football Carnival- 3rd September
We look forward to the SACPSSA Touch Football Carnival later this term, click here for info and to register your child. Once again the focus of the day is participation, not skill-level.
SAPSASA Netball Comp - 13 August
After attending trials at school, we have selected a team of ten year 5 and year 6 students to represent St Joseph's School, Kingswood in the first round of the SAPSASA Netball Comp, against Clapham Primary, Heritage College and St Spyridon on Thursday 13 August. Good luck team!! (If your child is attending, please make sure you complete the consent form ASAP)
SAPSASA Soccer Comp - 14 August
Good luck also to the students in years 5 & 6 who have been selected to represent our school in the first round of the SAPSASA Soccer Comp, to be held on Friday 14th August. Best wishes for a fun day. (If your child is attending, please make sure you complete the consent form ASAP)
