SAPSASA Girls Knockout Netball 

On Thursday 13th August the Year 6 Knockout Netball Team participated in a round robin tournament against St Spyridon, Heritage College and Clapham Primary School. The matches were held at Clapham Primary school in a modified format. Unfortunately, the girls didn’t progress to the next round but did win two of their 3 matches. Special thanks to Vicky Wilson for coaching the team and umpiring on the day and Mrs Bridget Hughes, Mr Deverson and Mr Shultz for their help on the day and Raelee Vick, Kylie Harvey and Steven Patriarca for their help transporting the students to and from the venue.

SAPSASA Boys Knockout Soccer

On Friday 14th August the Year 5/6 Knockout Soccer Team participated in a round robin tournament against Mt Barker, Hahndorf and McAuley Primary School. The matches were held at Mt Barker Primary School in a modified format. Unfortunately, the boys didn’t progress to the next round but did win one of their matches and had two very narrow losses on the day. Special thanks to Darius Sabou for coaching on the day and Emma Brooke, Lisa Harriss, Darius Sabou and Rose Rossi for their help transporting the students to and from the venue. 

SAPSASA Southern Heights/City South District Athletics Day

Any Primary School student born in 2010, 2009, 2008 or 2007 is invited to nominate to participate in the SAPSASA District Athletics Day, held on 13th October 2020. Please note that SAPSASA competitions are set up for students who have experience or a special skill in a sporting endeavour and therefore students participate against other highly skilled competitors. To ensure an even contest we are asked to send athletes of high achievement in their chosen area.  Successful participation in Lttle Athletics or the SACPSSA Athletics Carnival previously are a good measure of the students ability to participate in this Carnival. If your child would like to participate, please complete the nomination form, no later than 18th September 2020.
