Lifecycle of a Caterpillar
As a part of their inquiry this term, "What do living things need to be happy?", Reception Saccone watched some caterpillars grow and change as they go through the stages of their lifecycle.
From a caterpillar to a butterfly, with a chrysalis stage in between, the students enjoyed documenting the caterpillar's lifecycle over three weeks, before releasing the beautiful female Monarch Butterfly that emerged from the pupa into the garden.
