The next Sacramental Program will commence in February 2022. An information session will be held later this year- Please keep an eye out for notification of this through this newsletter and SeeSaw.

And in keeping with this, our Staff will be participating in a Staff Reflection Day on Monday 5th September. We will be spending the day at Sunset Rock Centre in Stirling, reflecting on Community and Communion. Mary Camilleri will guide us during the day with her endless knowledge and experience. The aim of this day is not just to learn about Communion but also to be in Communion so staff will engage in various activities that will elicit reflections on the topic.
A reading from Corithians:

1 Corinthians 10:16–17

16 When we bless the cup of blessing aren’t we sharing the blood of Christ? When we break the bread aren’t we sharing the body of Christ? 17 Because there is one loaf, we are one body, although we are many individuals. All of us share one loaf.

PRAYER:

Gracious Lord, thank you for the gift of your Supper.

Thank you for giving us tangible reminders of your love and grace.

Thank you for the opportunity we have,

indeed, the responsibility we have,

of sharing communion with our fellow believers.

May our experience of your Supper always be a time of deep fellowship with you.

But may it also be a time of communion with our brothers and sisters in your family.

Teach us, dear Lord,

the fuller meaning of your Supper,

so that we might be more fully your people

and enjoy more completely the benefits of your salvation.

All praise be to you, Lord Jesus,

because through your death we have new life,

and through your sacrifice we are made one,

not only with you, but also with your people.

Amen.
