SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM DATES

Our Sacramental Journey for 2023 is coming to an end on the 29^th October. The 2023 Sacramental Candidates will be celebrating the First Holy Communion at the 10:30am mass. All the St Joseph’s Community is warmly invited.

2024 SACARMENTAL PROGRAM

We are already looking ahead to the 2024 Sacramental Program. We encourage all year 3 and year 4 students to discern about taking the next steps in their Catholic Life by enrolling and doing the sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Communion in 2024. There will be a sacramental information night on the 21^st November where we will open enrolments in the program for next year.

VINNIES WINTER APPEAL 2.0

A humungous thank you to the St Joseph’s Community for responding to our second run of Vinnies Winter Appeal. I, along with the older School Spirit Team members delivered the donations in Week 6. It was an eye-opening experience to see and hear about the magnitude of need.

MITIOG

Please keep an eye out for MITIOG letters coming out at the beginning of term 4. We encourage you to read this letter, that outlines what the unit of work in Made in the Image of God Catholic Curriculum, so that you can be better prepared should your child follow up lessons in class with questions and wonderments. We understand that the topics covered in MITIOG can be quite sensitive, so please contact class teachers if you have questions or concerns.
