To compliment the Year 4/5 Steciuk class' exploration of the Levels of Government in Civics and Citizenship and Financial Planning in Mathematics, the students visitied Parliament House and the Central Markets in Week 2. While at Parliament House, the students gained insight into the levels of government and the legislative process. Furthermore, to tie into their financial planning theme, students were given the opportunity to shop at the Central Market. This was a hands-on opportunity for them to apply budgeting skills and make decisions as a group.
